Why a Limited Edition Padel Courts Collection? Q&A with Nicola Ceresoli, CEO of NXPadel
Finally we can say it: after months of material studies, testing, rendering and promotional activity, NXPadel Selection, our collection of limited edition padel courts, has finally seen the light and is officially available on the market since April 1.
Since the launch of the live event in which we announced the arrival of this project, the feedback we have received has been numerous and very positive, and already in the pre-sale phase we have received several inquiries that may become concrete very soon.
All this has undoubtedly made us proud and even more aware of the huge value of a project that is unprecedented in this field and that is now ready to release its full potential in the hands of those who would like to secure the exclusivity of a unique padel court.
Today, we’re asking a few questions to Nicola Ceresoli CEO of NXPadel and mastermind together with Luca Ceresoli (President of NXPadel), of NXPadel Selection to discover curiosities and background about this unique project.
Nicola, would you like to tell us what NXPadel Selection is?
Sure! NXPadel Selection is a collection of limited-edition Fiberglass padel courts through which the role of the padel court comes out of the purely technical aspect, and is able to excite, telling the uniqueness of its owner through 3 iconic finishes that reproduce 3 materials never seen on a padel court giving birth to the 3 exclusive models of this project: The David (marble), The Spectre (carbon fiber), The Timber (wood).
How did the idea for this project come about?
The idea was born from the constant desire to represent an added value in this sector through unprecedented and never seen before solutions, and until now we have focused on doing this through the technical advantages of our products and materials, with NXPadel Selection we wanted to take the aesthetics of the Padel Court to the next level so that it can reflect the uniqueness of people who will want to identify with it, feeling part of an exclusive reality that gives voice to their emotions and style.
Which is your favorite Selection?
Personally I love The David, it is without a doubt the one that represents me the most. I think the secret of this collection and the spirit with which we designed it is just that: to feel represented by a padel court and to choose the one that best embodies your style, your character and your uniqueness. I can say that The David, with me, has succeeded 100 percent. Luca's (Ceresoli, president of NXPadel ed.) favorite is The Timber for example.
How long did it take to shape NXPadel Selection?
We pinned down the first ideas around April 2023, and in the following months we worked on the materials, structural testing, concept and the strategic stuff, which we are still working on now for the whole advertising part. So I would say about 1 year.
For what types of locations would you recommend The David, The Spectre, and The Timber?
The answer to this question can also be found by looking at the promotional videos that we made with our marketing team as we tried to reproduce in our renders the locations that we imagined to be perfect for each of the 3 Selections:
The David I can see very well in a villa in Miami Beach, The Spectre on top of a skyscraper in a big metropolis like Tokyo for example, while The Timber in the middle of a Finnish forest.
For now we can say that some of the requests that came to us during the pre-sale phase reflect what I just said, but it is still a bit early to talk about it.
It is only fair to add, however, that this is just my personal opinion and that what matters most is that each Selection best embodies the spirit of its owner, whatever the location.
Now NXPadel Selection is officially on the market and as you can easily guess, these are not just any padel courts: that's why it is available in a print run of 10 numbered copies of each version and can be configured also in a mobile version.
