Mobile Fiberglass Padel Courts: the Complete Guide to Installing them Anywhere and without Red Tape
Not all padel court installations are the same, and every project may vary depending on the country and its regulations governing building permits, depending on the use to be made of the padel court, to the specific location where it will be born. One solution that gets everyone to agree, however, is there: they are the mobile padel courts or portable padel courts, found in the catalogs of now most companies in the industry to offer more flexibility to their clients.
This solution represents a twofold advantage:
- For permanent solutions: it allows avoiding much of the bureaucracy related to installation permits (which in some countries or municipalities can become quite long and difficult to manage)
- For temporary solutions: it allows to install padel courts anywhere proving decisive for events, fairs, tournaments, etc...
We at NXPadel have also developed our own idea of mobile padel courts and thanks to the incredible features of our products in terms of installation and maintenance, we have been able to develop a super smart, optimized solution that works perfectly both in terms of playability but also in terms of durability.
A mobile padel court does not mean less durable!
With our Mobile Fiberglass Padel Courts we certainly didn't want to give up strength and they are designed and tested to withstand wind currents up to 130km/h based on Official Eurocodes, just like our standard models.
How did we achieve this?
Thanks to a special system of 6 black galvanized metal plates placed on both two long sides of the structure. Each is superimposed by a 336kg counterweight so that all parameters are met and all forces involved are balanced.
The counterweight system, can be covered by our customizable benches, ensuring aesthetics and functionality at the same time.
How to replace the concrete slab in mobile padel courts?
The main cause of the lengthy bureaucracy associated with building permits for a padel court lies in the construction of the reinforced concrete slab. In our Mobile Fiberglass Padel Courts, our idea to replace it ( when necessary) is to use sandblasted concrete blocks that ensure an even surface and a smooth rebound at all times.
Synthetic turf on mobile padel courts
Those who know us, know that a few months ago we launched a new product for synthetic turf: it is called ZeroS, the first sandless padel mat, a solution that thanks to its great lightness (due to the absence of sand) and simplicity of installation lends itself very well to mobile courts.
But that's not all: unlike our standard courts, where ZeroS comes in rolls, on our Mobile Fiberglass Padel Courts, ZeroS is delivered in 2x1 plates that are glued to the ground and joined together like a big puzzle using a special stick-on glue that also makes it easy to remove it in a matter of seconds. This is our Sos (Stick-on System).
The white lines are already included on the plates, painted using a special glue mixture that does not alter the surface of the mat and ensures optimal bounce on the whole surface.
Why are Fiberglass Padel Courts perfect for mobile solutions?
What was mentioned in the previous paragraph about the characteristics of ZeroS and their perfect fit for mobile solutions also and especially applies to the other two components of our padel courts: the Fiberglass structure and ComfortGlass.
Both are far lighter than conventional padel courts, which ensures a much more optimized installation and dismantling of the mobile court.
These operations are also aided by the Rails System technology that allows both the Fiberglass structure and ComfortGlass to attach to the support poles smartly and quickly, and the Click&Fix technology that allows the court meshes to assemble together in a matter of seconds.
Finally, it is impossible not to mention the two biggest advantages of these two components: On the one hand, Fiberglass is chemically anti-rust; on the other, ComfortGlass is indestructible.
In the first case, having a chemically anti-rust structure means avoiding that by dint of installing and uninstalling the court, as the screws are inserted, the galvanizing breaks down, which will thus let rust penetrate the structure. With the Fiberglass structure this will be impossible.
In the case of ComfortGlass, being able to rely on a 100% indestructible "glass" ensures safe, easy and optimized installation and removal at all times.
Our Mobile Fiberglass Padel courts are customizable and configurable in NXPadel Selection, our three limited edition courts, the ultimate aesthetic expression of our products.
